Besides writing, an author’s great delight comes from meeting people who truly enjoy a good story. I was so thrilled to be a part of Friends of Fantasy Day at Honey Rock Books and Café in my hometown of Gallatin, Tennessee this past Saturday!

For those of you who stopped by to chat with me and fellow local author Emily Blakeney and get a book signed, thank you so much! You braved the ice and cold to support us and an awesome independent bookstore, and for that we are grateful.

I met so many wonderful book lovers that day. I also learned a lot about the “romantasy” genre from Emily and her friends. I had no idea that fantasy romance has such a big following!
